“In 2020, Sleepy Shane’s Barbecue was born from the ashes of a reclaimed pizza joint on Clairmont Avenue in Birmingham, AL. Our mission was uncomplicated: honor the legacy of BBQ masters, leave no detail unattended on our menu, and treat every guest like family.
This ethos allowed us to craft something truly special. An authentic BBQ haven with skilled chefs and pitmasters. A nod to time-honored recipes while embracing the future. Dine-in experiences on one side, and convenient drive-through on the other. No freezers, no shortcuts, no microwaves. We slow-smoke pork and beef for 12 hours, but serve it up with lightning speed. A celebration of Alabama and a deep respect for BBQ traditions across the South.
This place is the result of daring to be different. We don’t follow trends; we follow our hearts, trust our instincts, and do things the hard way.
